I will be attending stern this fall as a finance major and im interested in also pursuing a double major at CAS, specifically, political science. is this practical? and approximately how long will it take to graduate?

Sorry to hijack the thread - but I want to know about double majoring in CAS too. Specifically Finance and Math. I read on the Courant website that the math major is 12 classes - I’m only taking Calc 1 this fall (when I register that is). Can I still do a math + finance major and graduate in time? How does it work out?

I think the answer should help stuartlittle as well, because pol sci is also a lot of classes

It depends on the amount of credits it takes. You have 38 elective credits if you are in Stern so if you can fit all 12 of those math classes then yes you should be able to double in it.
