<p>I applied to UCF back in October, was deferred in December until receipt of my semester transcript. I sent that out in January and have had the same deferral status since. My stats aren't the best I know, but it would just be nice to have a yes or no already from them. I went to the admissions office to speak with a counselor and I did. They said the only thing I can do is continue to wait, and that they may even offer me admission a week before classes start (which I found to be ridiculous). Also what I think they might be doing is waiting til AFTER May 1st (the deposit deadline) to see how many students will actually be attending, then possibly make a decision after that. </p>

<p>Anyone else in the same boat or any advice for the time being? :(</p>

1200 SAT = 610 Math 590 Reading
24 ACT
Tons of extracurricular/community involvement</p>

<p>I would think your best bet is to send them an email. They might give you the same response they told you at the admissions office, but you might get someone nice to take a second look at your transcript and push your thing along. Just let them know that you were deffered, sent the extra transcript, and eager to know if you’re in so that you can make plans for next year. Also include your desire to go to UCF and that if accepted you will deffinelty be going to their school.</p>
