Stores in Ithaca

cornell's apple orchard is awesome.

Appel has all the same letters as Apple!

Hahaha, well who doesn't like fresh apple cider X)

But I did mean the computer company. I usually need them for tech support every other week bleh.

How about cute little artisan shops, craft fairs, and thrift stores? Anything cool in the area to remember if I get in?

Does Cornell have everything??
Even an apple orchard.. wow haha

wait til the yearly apple festival... best apples youll ever taste

just explore the commons. seriously, i love it there. there's this really cute vintage shop there which is pretty overpriced, but two doors down and there's a shop that gives a very strong reminder of a thrift store. and then, the salvation army here is pretty sick - you'll def be able to get some amazing finds there.

Eh I don't like shopping myself, but if I'm ever bored and it's nice out, I'll probably check some Ithaca stores out if I end up getting into Cornell.
When I visited, Ithaca seemed like it had a lot of unique places.

The Ithaca mall (I think that's what it's called at least) is like a 5 minute bus ride from North Campus and has a decent selection for being in the Ithaca, aka the middle of nowhere. There's AE, Border's, Old Navy, PacSun, Zumiez, Gap, Target, Victoria's Secret, Dick's, Spencer's, Bath and Body Works, and I think a JC Penny's. Not the best, but not bad for being, oh, 100 miles or so from real civilization lol (I'm exaggerating but barely). There's also a decently-sized movie theater next to it.

College Town has a fair amount of restaurants for being so tiny, don't miss out on College Town Bagels or the Bubble Tea House. There's also a Starbuck's there if you need a caffeine fix, and Stella's for a "nice" dinner.

The Commons have many cute vintage and indie shops (clothes, books, jewelry etc) and a great selection of various restaurants.

Also, the Farmer's Market is a cab ride away (very cheap if you split the fare 4 ways or so) and has some pretty cool stuff.

You have to keep in mind that Ithaca is a hippie town :)

do they have an H&M nearby? if they dont i might cry :(

The nearest H&M is in Syracuse
