I've been getting all sorts of stuff from them.

Res college welcome stuff, that writing seminar email in letter form, the bill for first semester, something about student agencies at pton, the freshmen edition of the Prince...

I must have filled my "during school job" with scholarship money, because yeah, I don't have one. And I sure was confused as to why everyone says it told them what job they had when mine definitely didn't! ;)

You can still get a job if you want one though. Work at J.Crew and hook me up with a discount :p

you get an automatic 15% student discount with your prox at jcrew, plus no nj sales tax

NJ sales tax does not apply to clothing in the first place though...

i know, that was my point-- its cheaper than buying it in another state

I filled my campus job w/ scholarship money too, but they still sent me an assignment. Weird.

I got dining services, too. However, it pays considerably higher wages than my current job (although it's for fewer hours, so it evens out).

Oh...sorry ec1234...

About the library services. A friend switched from dining to library and he regreted it. There are several jobs in the library. He got one sorting books. No time to do homework and very tiring.

I heard Tutoring pays well. Any ideea how well? And how do you apply for a job in tutoring? And I know that last year it was possible to do tutoring from the first semester of frosh year. Any ideea how?

Maybe you can tutor high school kids off campus.

isn't dining very tiring also??

yeah it is. dining hall is not one of the better jobs you can get on campus. www.princeton.edu/se login and look for on-campus jobs. once the school year starts there will be a lot of jobs posted there. tutoring, library, research assistance. library jobs are the easiest, you can do work during those jobs.

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh i got dining. whyyyyyyy?!?! its the one job i didn't want.

ok sorry. i'm just not a dishwasher type. and i was gloating to my family that i wouldn't have to wash dishes for another 4 years. darn karma.

i don't want to do dining also..do you think I can email them to change the job??

LOL has any CCer got any job apart from dining? :p

Yay for dirty dishes!

I think you can apply for pretty much most campus jobs - the only thing is your job isn't guaranteed...Am I correct?

Smart cookie, you are. Smart cookie :)

Although supposedly as a work-study student, you get preference when you apply for on-campus jobs...

dining services here as well, but huzzah for last minute scholaships
