Subject Tests

Okay, so I took US History, World History, and Lit. because Georgetown requires 3 subject tests. I was expecting to bomb them, and have to retake.

I got 680 Lit, 690 World, and 700 US. Is this good enough to send to Georgetown? I just feel really unsure about anything related to SATs since I have only taken the ACT.

Thanks

Hey, I’m kinda in the same boat as you. Pretty much mediocre scores, so I’m on the fence about them. I took Bio, Lit, and U.S. History in June,

U.S. History- 740
Literature- 690
Biology- 590

I posted these scores elsewhere, and people were telling me to definitely retake Bio and maybe Lit. Are you planning on retaking any of yours?
Also have you heard that Georgetown prefers candidates to take a math SAT II? That’s what I’ve been told, and I’m not sure about that one. If that’s true, I’m screwed cause I’m definitely not a math person. lol

I think your scores are a bit too low if you’re aiming for SFS. Even some straight 800s students get rejected from SFS.

Yeah haha, not a math person at all. I’m planning on applying to the Georgetown College for the Government major.

any score less than a mid600s will look dismal to Georgetown
as someone said above, even 800s get denied.
mose2014: i would say your scores are good enough for georgetown. of course, higher is better, but they are not necessarily bad for georgetown

Any way to get around taking these tests?
