Submitted application at 11:59 p.m. on day of deadline, any way to verify it went through?

First of all, I know I should not have waited to literally the last minute.

(For the record, all times are in Mountain time, the timezone live in) Anyway, I paid the application fee at 11:58, and pressed the final submit button at 11:59. At 11:59, I received an email saying that I completed my application on January 4th. While I’m aware that all times posted on the common app are in eastern, making 11:59 January 3rd the same as 1:59 a.m. January 4th, is there anyway to verify I submitted the application on time? I believe I did since I got the confirmation email at 11:59. It says on my dashboard I submitted on January 4, but I know that’s because its it in eastern time (it says ET after it).

Restating my question, is there any way to check besides emailing them (which I will) that I got it in on time?

I would see what it says on the actual Common App. If you are in your dashboard and hit for the status of your school you can see when it was submitted or if your documents were already downloaded. It might say Jan 3 or 4th, or it could say your documents are downloaded and then you have no need to worry at all. I’ve also heard colleges often don’t even notice those few minute differences. Hope this helps.

Here’s a hint for you – even if it got uploaded at 12:05, you’re fine.

“My application was disregarded and my application fee refunded because I missed the midnight deadline by a few minutes.” said nobody ever.
