I also want to get a rescore on my ap biology exam. I got a 2 and totally expected a 3. Any success stories??

^ My advice is that you shouldnāt waste your money on rescoring (is it $14?). Same thing happened to me my sophomore year. I walked out of the Euro test being confidently with at least a 3. It turned out I got a 1. YES, a 1. I was planning to have it rescore but I never, NEVER heard a successful story with rescoring. So i dropped the idea and accepted the fact that I got a 1. Well, when I later took APUS, I figured out why I got that stupid 1. It was all because of the essays. I bombed those essays without knowing it. I had a very good teacher and he walked us through how to write a persuasive essays. I was just overconfident with my writing skill.

From my experience, if you are REALLY confident that you did good in the MC, you may want to attempt to have you tests rescore. Otherwise, the chance that youāre going to get a higher score is very low.

@leo0895, yeah I get what your saying but thereās no way I did that bad. On the practice tests/essays that I did in class, I wasnāt anywhere near a 3. Even if I missed 20 on my MC thereās no way that I got a 1/1/1 on my essays.

@nerdygirl999 yeah i got a 3 on my AP Bio exam and it shocked me because I studied my butt off and was expecting at least a 4. Everyone else got 4ās and 5ās at my school that had lower grades than me in the classā¦ Iām just scared to rescore and have it end up being a 2 or something :/

Oh can you get a lower score than what you have on the rescore??

Yeah, Iām going to ask for a rescore because I purposely did bad on my Calc BC exam, missed atleast 12 MC questions, skipped 2 FRQs. The reason I am doing that is because I hate my Calc teacher, she always brags about getting her students all 5ās and I wanna ruin her record. All I really wanted was a 4 (Doesnt matter if i got 4 or 5). I calculated that I would get atleast 60 point/108, which is a 4. Yet I still got a 5 on the exam. Going to ask for rescore to hopefully lower my score.

@dragooner4ā¦thatās definitely not worth the 14 bucks

Do not feed dragooner4, he is definitely a ā ā ā ā ā .

@dragooner4 great plan, i suport u, if anyone bags on u ill be there

OMG RESCORED a 1 got a 2!!! IāM SO HAPPY GUISE!! erhgmahSDFG.

@jdroidxw, dang, you got a fast response from CB o.O

@CamiTheAvenger Br0 I KN0W! I C@11ed trevor dude on tw1tter personally. and he was like 2 dude!!!

I got a 2 on the AP Bio exam but I was expecting a 4 (maybe a 3 at worst)ā¦ Still thinking about a rescore. I worked so hard on that test and had an A average throughout the year :(

Is it actually possible to get a lower score on a rescored exam? It wouldnāt make very much sense would it?

Yeah it is possible, but if youāre in the 1 or 2 range it canāt hurt can it?

What would cause your score to go down?
Yeah I agree with the one and two thing, but If I got a 3 I donāt want anything to go wrong in the process of the rescore to cause me to fail. Iām confident that I got a higher score but CB seems to be kind of sketchy at times.

Should I ask for a rescore? I got a 3 in AP BIO, and got a 3 on the AP practice exam too. But that was without studying and realizing how the new standards/questions were formatted. I went back, checked every answer that I got wrong on the practice test, and watched Bozeman Biology! Shouldnāt I get at least a 4ā¦ And I had one of the highest Aās throughout the whole class, the teacher loved me and gave me an award for being an outstanding student! This is my first three and Iām tired of seeing everyone getting a 4, even the people that hated biology more than I did. I thought I deserved at least a 4. Any stories of rescoring that got them a lower grade?

^ domo, honestly, I donāt think the re-score will get you the 4 you want. Donāt bother.

I just got my AP results and received a 3 on AP HG. I was considering rescoring it. The fact is that I was not confident for the MC part but quite confident about the frqs. I checked a score calculator and even if I got a 0/74 on the MC but full on frq I would get a 4. Do u think the score was correct and the curve this year might have been really harsh or maybe they did not include my MC or frq? The money is not a big problem but I would rather not waste it unnecessarily. Thank you

@shijurodhaz

Iām in the same boat as you. I got a 3 on my AP WH exam and I totally expected a 4 or even 5. Even kids who I surpassed in my class got 4ās and 5ās. Similarly, I felt my multiple choice was weak, but my free response shouldāve compensated for part I. I think Iām going to send for a rescore. My thought process: If money is not an issue, why not. Better to try than regret later on.
