^ What? That’s not how it works. Rescore means they regrade your multiple choice by hand because you’re convinced the ETS scantron machine didn’t grade your sheet properly. You got a 4, not a 5. That’s called test-taking variance. It happened to me on AP Lit back when I was a senior. You need to move on. I’m sorry.
FRQ’s are not rescored, only MC.

Is it really worth a rescore. I recently got a 2 on my APWH exam but I was very very confident about my MC. On the essays I know I aced the dbq, my CCOT was weak but my similarity and difference was strong. Is it possible to get a 2 if you do bad on just one essay but great on everything else.
@jessi25 same here I got a 2 on my APWH exam this year too and I felt that all my essays were really strong and my MC was like an ok job, I sent the re-score form to get it re-scored and I also sent a form for them to send me back my essay. I think you should too I mean its worth a shot! Good luck!

Does college board send you an email to confirm they received the requests/mail?
Hey I dont think the collegeboard sends you an email when they’ve received it because Ive been contacting them to see if they recieved my mail and they keep telling me that its impossible to check and that i’d have to wait 6-8 weeks. Also, they told me to check my credit card history to see if they processed the request.
i got my physics c and calculus a/b score.my score was 1 in AP Calculus A/B.i couldn’t believe my score i was expecting a 4 or 5. i think i didn’t write the serial number of my MCQ booklet properly in my MCQ answer sheet…i still remember the last whole i didn’t filled … should i give it for rescore…is there any possibility of succesful outcome or is there any success stories…please tell…thankyou
@jessi25 they will never send you any recipt or something via mail…fax the rescore sheet again to 609-771-7320 and write DUPLICATE on it…i did the same way ,when i called to CB @ 212-632-1780 they connected my call to some other department which first verified my profile and then told me to fax it to 609-771-7320 number…after 2-3 days i again spoke to CB where they again connected my call to this other department and they told me my request has been recieved and it will take approx 4-6 weeks
Did anyone receive their frq booklet yet?
Nope when reading some of the stories on here I think that the frq booklet gets sent last and it takes a while.
I got a 1 on euro and 2 in bio. I am sending a resore today. I felt like my dbq and frq were strong on euro. On bio I felt good on the mc and decent on the frqs.
After taking AP Euro this year and taking the exam, I came out fairly confident that I got AT LEAST a 4 or a 5. I got my score back and I ended up getting a 3. I think I really deserved a 4 or 5 and I’m sure there must have been a screw-up on the mc or frq. Should I send in for a rescore?

Okay, so according to those, I got 61% of the free response points (grading very harshly). I have always done significantly better on multiple choice than on free response, so how did I get a 3? I’ve been telling myself all this time that the rescore was a long shot, but now I’m not sure. I guess it’s good that I paid up and ordered it.
I got my APWH FRQ booklet back today. Does anyone know the grading guidelines of this year by any chance or have the link?
