OK…sorry, I just wasn’t sure by your post. :)

I would send Ms. Rogers an email sometime after Jan 11. That will give them time to possibly send your scholarship this week when offices re-open.

I may

Bump; does anyone know anything about Mizzou or Iowa?

Bumpppp I’m curious about Iowa and Mizzou but i see nothing in their sections

My H went to U Iowa for grad school. We visited there a few years ago. I like the way the campus is along the river.

I also liked the off-campus hangouts.

It’s cold there. What do you want to know about it?

haha I looove the cold absolutely LOVE it
I don’t know in general what’s the feel, do most students live on campus? do they like it? is the housing decent? programs? lol

I would suggest Penn State or Pitt
I think you’d like both…especially Pitt-definately NOT an LAC

I didn’t visit the housing, so I don’t know about that. I have heard that some halls don’t have air conditioning, but I don’t know if that’s an issue. I wonder if they have a housing shortage because I see a triples and quads on their website.

If you go to this page (wait for it to fully load) and then scroll down, you can click on various halls pics to get an idea of their quality.

About 30% of undergrads live on campus.

About 1/5 of the students are in some kind of business major.

rocket6- I’ve applied to both! hah I actually applied EA to Pitt and got defered into the late admissions, so whatev

mom2coll- thanks! I keep trying to find places to get information and i just can’t think of any ><

^^^

You may not really know until you visit. Or are you deciding whether to apply?

I’m trying to decide on if i want to apply or not
I’d visit my schools but both my parents have very demanding jobs that they can;t really just take breaks from
and i train on the weekends

hip hop pop lock. bump

I think you would like wilkes even though its private. it gets cold and i know someone who goes there and they say it has an athletic enviornment ha. its also really pretty there

haha i looked it up, that’s WAYYY to small for my taste, but thanks anyway

It sounds to me that Amanda wants a big school, with big sports (perhaps big Div I), and all the big fun things big schools offer.

Is that right?

Yeah haha I explained all (well MOST) of my preferences in post #4, haha i just feel people don’t read that but it was to late to edit my post,
and I’m Hispanic; IDK if that matters

Amandarin-Pitt doesn’t have EA-it’s just rolling…so i’m confused how you got deferred

rocket6…

I don’t know about Pitt, but some schools with rolling are doing this. They “defer” until they can see first semester grades or for the student to retake the ACT/SAT or some other reason.

UCONN fits what you said pretty well… it’s up and coming Public university with great sports

Rocket- It was the if you applied by December 1st or whatever. That’s exactly what my letter that came said.

yeah it’s pretty much what mom2college said… they deferred so i can write another essay or stuff, but it’s whatever

Plex-I was looking into UCONN but i heard its really hard with a low CR score like mine

bump a doodle
