Hey All,

I just have a couple of quick questions regarding my admissions for UC Irvine. I currently have 49 units completed and had planned to take 15 units for the spring 2012 semester. But midway through, my uncle and grandfather passed away, and then the next month, my father had a heart attack. I was left no choice but to withdraw from all my classes except Calculus and stay home and take care of my family. On top of that, (I posted this topic a month ago) I was dropped from the Calc class because my professor was fired from my CC. Now that things with my family are back in order, I am left with no classes and not enough units to transfer. I was just admitted to UC Irvine and I really wish to go there.

My question for everyone here is, if I explain my situation to the school, do you think that I would be allowed to take summer classes? I am planning on taking 12 units (already pre-approved by my counselor) this summer in the first session, which ends on July 5th. If I push my school/teachers to update the official transcripts immediately, would I have a chance to submit them, along with my explanation in time for the July 15th deadline? I know that all this seems completely far fetched, but with all the bad luck I have had this semester, I really am hoping for some good news. Any advice/comments would be helpful. I thank you all in advance and I hope everyone was accepted into their dream school =)

P.S. The professor was fired for a relationship involving a student. I have been asked this a thousand times and thought I would answer it ahead of time =)

Thanks again!
