Summer at UCLA?

Does anyone have recent (2004-05) experience with UCLA's summer program? I would like to take two upper division courses over the summer and am curious how difficult they are to complete in 2 six week summer terms.
a link to their web site http://www.summer.ucla.edu/

thanks!

well, I took an upper divison course over the summer.. but it was only one and the workload is doable but still very heavy. depends on what you take

I would like to take a history 191 course. My main concern is completing the research paper in 6 weeks while attending seminar for several hours a day plus discussion group. seems like alot, but perhaps no more than any other history course I have taken during the summer or winter sessions?
thank you. :)

History 191 huh. Well, based on what you wrote, your time management has to be perfect. It is definitely doable. In my opinion, make sure you set a time schedule on when you do the reading and all that good stuff.

Thanks again, using a schedule is something I had not considered.
Now I can't wait until 3/1 to enroll. :)

why do you have to wait until 3/1? not a student?

That is correct.
I am not a current UCLA student, so I have to wait until 3/1 to enroll.

ah bummer dude - well all the classes except labs and other popular courses should still be wide open. I didn't even enroll until the middle of spring quarter last year and had plenty of choices.

How is Chem 14C and 14CL over the summer. I'll be taking both and was wondering how everything will turn out.

ooh i'll be taking that too!! :)
