Summer@Brown 2014 (communicating, facebook group-creating, etc...)

<p>Hello, people of College Confidential (specifically those attending Brown's summer program)!
I've never posted on CC before, although I'm acquainted with the site. But I decided it was worth joining if I could find and make some connections before the summer starts so that the transition into life at Brown is less stressful (ice cream socials can only facilitate so much interaction; personally, if you place free food within 5 meters of me, my attention will be focused on getting that food into my mouth rather than, like, talking to people).
There currently seems to be no place for those attending the program to commune (both on or off College Confidential), so I thought that starting a discussion board would be a good launching point; perhaps we can start a Facebook group (they had one for the program last year) if we garner enough interest. To start, it'd be pretty cool if we could introduce ourselves here!
So, I'm a junior in high school (female); I'm also a total nerd. I'm attending the pre-bacc program (the 7 week, for credit program). </p>

<p>I’m attending the 3 week program, too starting june 23rd. And yes there should definitely be a facebook group!</p>

<p>I don’t use Facebook anymore but on here people could also communicate. I am doing a 2 week program towards the end of July beginning of August. And another option is to create a yahoo group where almost anyone can access that. </p>
