Summer Programs for High School Graduate?

I'm currently a senior that's looking to attend a summer program for research or just a science program in general for this summer (of 2011). Are there any summer programs/internships available to recent high school graduates?

Also, please don't make comments on enjoying my last summer before college. My friends and I will go crazy and get buzzed (them) and etc.

My fallback is looking to start research early at the college that I was accepted to early decision during the summer (it's only an hour commute by train). Do high school graduates typically do this kind of thing if they live near the university they'll be attending the next year?

Thanks for your feedback.

You can try for Clark Scholars. They accept seniors.

Also, check out [High School Internships](http://people.rit.edu/~gtfsbi/Symp/highschool.htm)

Thanks, that link was pretty helpful, although a great deal of the programs there are regional/commuter programs.
