EA tends to be more popular than RD. But also Ive heard that Bing is pretty big on showing your interest in the school and many people who apply RD don’t show as much interest

My child applied EA undecided and was accepted on Thursday. Bing rolls out admission. the fact that you have not heard anything yet does not mean anything bad. You will hear either way by 1/15.
Does anyone know when regular decisions will start coming out. I know the deadline is 1/15 and you hear by april 1. But I’m so anxious because I was deferred and now put with RD.

Hope so! My son is instate and waiting to hear from SOM… I am hoping that the lack of any response does not mean he is deferred/rejected from SOM.Also wondering if he is deferred or rejected if will be able to be considered by Harpur or if he has lost any opportunity be at Binghamton … He has gotten into Ohio state, Delaware and Pitt bus programs - but Bing would be so great…Anyone have experience with this, a deferral or rejection from SOM but being able to apply to Harper or another school??TIA!!

@Daisylili, My son, is currently a junior in SOM, and when he applied, the rule was that if you were not accepted to SOM, you would not be considered for Harpur. I don’t know if anything is different this year due to COVID, but I’d suggest reaching out to the AO to find out. Good luck!

no portal change. Also in state and applied to SOM on 10/02.
It seems like Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days t hey send out decisions. Good Luck to those still waiting.
I believe that if you are rejected from SOM, you cannot be considered for Harpur. My daughter was originally applying for SOM, but we got nervous for that reason and switched it. I’m sure your son will be fine! My daughter has also gotten into OSU, Delaware, and Pitt business programs. She is super excited about Ohio! Best of luck.
I don’t wanna go too far off topic, But why is she most excited about Ohio? At this point my son is torn between Pitt and Ohio…Still lots to hear back from including Binghamton SOM so it’s premature but…
