I got into SOM EA OOS with 13.5k a year (Presidentās Scholarship). Didnāt apply for FA.

Do they use stats to determine who is awarded a Presidentās Scholarship?

Hi! Iām eagerly awaiting Binghamtonās decision (I applied to Harpurās college). However, I was wondering if I should send my mid year transcript in? I never got a email from the school requesting it, though. I desperately want to get into the school.
I do not, but my d was invited as well. She is a nursing major.

If you think the grades may make a difference, for example if her grades are even better than in the past or if sheās taking a tough load and doing really well, etc., I would send them in. Itās a new development since the application and another way to let them know youāre still super interested (and I will take the opportunity to say that itās a top choice). It may help, but even though many will say it will make no difference, it certainly could not hurt. Good luck!!!

Merit scholarship and FA both are separate notifications. Merit number was sent in a email
And FA came last week on myBing portal

Has anyone else not received any info on financial aid yet? When I login into BU Brain there is literally nothing about aid and when I type āfinancial aidā into the search box I get a error message saying Iām not qualified yet or something along those lines.
we havenāt received anything yet. Did you commit? Iām wondering if they are sending to people that havenāt already committed first??
Binghamton is a safety for me (no disrespect), so Iām not going to commit until the 7th of April, if I ever do. I just want to know what type of financial aid Iām getting. I think your theory might be right.
Rugters is like Stony Brook, which consistently ranks higher than Bing in Computer Science.
At least from what I read, and according to US News. Rugters is also closer to New York City or Jersey City, so probably more jobs opportunities down there. But I think Bing is the toughest SUNY to get into.
