@KartKoll–Nope! I’m getting extremely anxious.

Swarthmore Admissions is “stuffing envelopes” with your decisions. Good luck!

@momof3sons do you have any information on when exactly? Will we all be getting our decisions at random times between now and April 1st?

They will be “random” only in the sense that domestic students will be at the mercy of the US Postal Service. :)

Momof3…does that mean the international students receive emails?

Are they being mailed today or tomorrow?

So, momof3sons, being mailed out today as well?

Yikes, this is making me nervous.

Not yet. Everybody breathe…

So when will the results come out?

My sister in Syracuse said that a kid in her neighborhood found out he got in. It makes me wonder if the letters are already in the mail, and he received his on Saturday.

I just called them and they send the decisions would be sent out by the end of the week. May be they say that because the west coast will receive it by the end of the week.

do they post the decisions online?

Syracuse student was either ED I or II or an “early write” if recently received. No decisions posted online. They are “snail mailed.”

One of my friends received her acceptance letter on Saturday as well, which was a bit disconcerting since I live fairly close to her but still haven’t gotten a thing.

It is hard to be patient when well-meaning parents are posting that envelopes are being stuffed, and then friends get acceptances while you receive nothing. The USPS has a good overall record, but it can be unpredictable. Our Swattie waited a week after ED acceptances were sent out before calling admissions. A second letter was sent and it arrived before the original one did.

hmm so does international students get notified by post mail? if they did not use the priority option… its going to take long…

international students are notified through Fedex

@helium47
even rejected/waitlisted applicants?

@coase I am the “well-meaning” parent you reference. I did say that envelopes were being “stuffed” but when asked if they had been mailed, I replied in the negative. I will have to remember, going forward, to not mention anything until actual mailing if it gets people “in a tizzy.”

Again, if students have received acceptances previously, they are “early writes.” My practice in the past has been to let everyone know, as soon as I know, when domestic RD acceptances have actually been mailed.
