people that got declined or accepted. did they send u something in the regular mail too. She said I would get something in the mail too. Is that a good sign.
i cant speak for SU yet, but all my rejections came in the mail too; my online rejections were left up to me to find on the portals; only received acceptance emails or that the portal had gone live with decisions; never got a deliberate rejections email

SU will send you mail both eMail and regular mail whether it be Accepted, Denied or Waitlisted Im really beginning to think the next ‘wave’ will be deferrals and waitlists again I can be wrong but I am only going by researching past years posts of which there was no ED I and EDII s only ED good luck and keep your fingers crossed

D received her acceptance at 5:33 via e-mail on 4/1/15. Looks like 3rd wave does not necessarily mean wait listed. 
1964, may I ask to what major and did she get her first choice?
Arts and Sciences, Pre-medicine Program. That was her first choice.

Mtbd1996. What was ur gpa. Although, I think syracuse looks at more than just grades seeing how kids with high gpas have been rejected. Also my dad called the financila aid office te other day because he wanted to help me get more money. He serves in the U.S army. So rey told him they hadn’t completed my packet yet. That was monday when he called. I that a good sign or bad. sorry for all the questions. I’m really scared

@pr0710 you’re right they definitely do look other factors like interest and personal accomplishments than just grades. They do this because someone with lower stats could be more interested or a better fit for them. My gpa is 3.3 (unweighted) and SAT score was 1800. My weighted gpa was probably a lot higher since all my classes since freshman year were honors or AP. Plus I had an internship on wednesdays along with a part-time job. I also did an interview with them in November. Best of luck. Feel free to ask me more questions… it’s not a bother at all.
Mtbd1996 congratulations. I have a 3.5 gpa and J think I wrote a great essay and answers to the personal questions. however, I was stupid and did not visit syracuse. I visited every other school in my top 5 but did not visit syracuse. It’s not like t parents are rich and it’s a lon drive. They told my dad on Monday that they hadn’t conpleted my financia aid packet yet. Good or bad
Congrats tohoforever. Do you guys know if it matters what is says under financila aid for myslice. I heard there r two different things out. One says unavailable and the other says no awards at this time. Is that true
@pr0710 For me, it said no awards at this time. I think I just might turn down Syracuse. I think I would probably go to drexel or RIT. I need more time to decide though. But, I have to wait for decisions from NJIT,university of pittsburgh,university of maryland,university of delaware and SUNY buffalo. Don’t worry. I think you will get accepted.
