Taking 6-7 units in the Winter manageable?

I am still completing my lower division prep courses for communication studies and need some advice on which courses are wise to take during the winter. I know for a fact I will be taking Introductory Statistics (4 units); however the class is M-F 3:00-6:50 for five weeks. With that being said, I am considering adding another winter course that would be an online class. My options are: Intro to American Government and Politics, Introduction to Psychology, and Introduction to Sociology (each are 3 units, all online). Given the fact that adding another course would be an intro, would 7 units be overwhelming to manage for 5 weeks?

Note: I have completed 2/8 of the lower division prep courses already last year at Northern Arizona University (Freshman Year). Also, taking 12 units currently.

Is this intersession? If so, I would not truncate stats like that. You will likely get overwhelmed. Add two easier courses instead.

Yes, it is. Fall semester ends on the 4th. Intersession is from January 2nd to February 2nd; 5 weeks.

For UCLA Comm you need about a 3.9 to be competitive. I would not jeopardize your GPA, taking stats in truncated form.

Very valid point, do you have any recommendations on which two classes would go hand-in-hand?
