if you weren't retarded, you'd obviously see the difference.

Very kind of you. I see the difference and think it supports oorah's argument. What are YOU trying to say?

well that wasn't a single GPA point. plus 3.56 is a huge disparity between someone that is .3 off a 3.8.

Much more different than a 3.95 compared to like a 3.75. Do you really need to be told this? Holy crap, I hope I don't have to hold your hand for everything.

I've seen 3.4 TAP make it for BizEcon, it was in that same thread i posted.

But they got into Berkeley, so they have no reason to complain.

So you're saying that TAP helps students with lower GPAs get into UCLA.
Did anybody ever argue otherwise?

It wasn't argued against in general, but specifically it was.
Not everyone thinks on such a broad scale like you do

quote oorah

"One person mentioned that he would choose a 3.4 with TAP over a 3.8 without it... Are you kidding me?... I hope that was a gross exaggeration..."

I was just pointing out that it wasn't a gross exaggeration and it was in fact true, what is so hard to understand about that?

howd the 3.56 get into Berkeley?

Why are you so angry? I genuinely did not see what you were trying to prove since you included no commentary. I wasn't trying to attack you.

search boardname "politrix"

his story will scare you...

"if you weren't retarded, you'd obviously see the difference."

you just forever tainted your already poor image. first, you said that an argument is an argument. well, here is a perfect example that you're wrong. you're assuming that the other person is retarded therefore they dont see the difference. that is an ad hominem fallacy, where you use personal attacks to prove the other person is wrong. you're also just assuming he/she is retared with is probably false cuz they did go to Cal.

you're also just picking specific examples to prove a broader point. i can use specific examples too. my friend got accepted to UCLA with a 3.24 gpa non TAP so that does mean he is better than a TAP person? not necessarily.

Does anyone know the answer to my question a couple posts up?

^ the Cal admissions officers saw something in him/her.

Lol, Forever Tainted My Already Poor Image.. On A Transfer College Board Forum. Oh My God No, What Will I Do Now?

at least youre not denying it.

I need to know what that thing is because that GPA is really low for UCB!

i applied to UCB with a 3.55 and if i get in, i'll tell you.

Guyy.. i'm going to give you want I know you've been wanting from me.

Hug

There, now we can be best friends.

"Guyy.. i'm going to give you want I know you've been wanting from me."

i dont what a hug from you

learn the proper usages of "want" and "what"

i dont want to be your friend

he's not your friend, buddy

lol, cool you can point out typing mistakes on the internet.

I'm pretty sure I can find numerous mistakes throughout your syntax browsing through your posts, as you can with mine. So shut it right there hypocrite.
