<p>Fijeeboi this forum is still great, but when someone starts up a thread to slander programs that give you a greater opportunity to go to UCLA, then it nullifies the sites integrity. Keep your opinion to yourself. Oorah wanted spotlight and he got it. Positive or negative so be it.</p>
<p>I'll be the first to admit, that I'm not helping the situation by taking shots at oorah and various other twits that are speaking out their a$$es but I'm not any better, its all verbal vomit.</p>

<p>If TAP gives students priority to get into UCLA,
then TAP classes should equally and easily be accessed to all students who qualify.</p>
<p>Again, sure... the program gives some students greater opportunity to go to UCLA so yay for that. All they were trying to get at was that the program is a little biased and unfair. I don't see why he had to keep his opinion to himself. A lot of people are not TAP certified and are in his same boat. He wasn't "slandering" the program. He specifically said he did not hate TAP, he just thought it was unfair. </p>

We're here to discuss the flaws of a program not to senselessly bash upon it or students that participate, I think that I made that clear.</p>
<p>How does wanting to discuss flaws in a system lower this sites integrity? The only ones doing that are people like yourself with personal attacks.</p>

<p>I mean If you Truly want to go to Ucla and your GPA isn't as competitive as you would like it, Tap is the bread and butter, No matter what your Circumstances are. Believe me I'm a product of Circumstances and I'm going to Do it, just to better my chances, that was my initial point I tried to make. everything Else I've said was for the sake of saying it. and his Mummified opinion (yes it means wilted, dead, Something thats dead but still intact because its a mummy) is at the point of no return. </p>
<p>Tap Is for everyone, This is what I'm doing : Can be easily done by anyone
Get a restaurant job, work 4 days a week 4-5 hour shifts AT night I make anywhere from 1600-2000 which is good for central valley and only working 20 hours a week ( get a gf/bf to live with split half your bills). Your tips aren't counted on your W-2's so you qualify for Pell Grants and other Grants ANd get a BOG waiver which pays for your classes. take advantage of the system, while you still can, why would you negate your options? Thats what I'm doing and IT works I make sufficient money to pay my bills food, gas, clothes, games, and school. If your Job isn't working around your school needs it isn't for you then. School Is placed above God thats how crucial it is if you want to make good money and the career of your likings.</p>
<p>Everyone could sit there and cry about how it is easy to get into Tap and lower GPA's are less competitive, but no one wins the race, working hard and taking the long way, short cuts get you 1st place not the other way around, its not fair, I hate it to. but you are the one taking advantage of the system or you are the person getting taken advantage of. That's Life...</p>
<p>Well let's be honest here I cannot let Lazy boy go out on a limb by himself, Thats why I'm still contributing. We're all essentially a Team on this site, we may bicker from time to time about who's right and who's not. Great minds will always clash, To many Chiefs and not enough Indians. At the end of the day we truly wish each other luck with the schools and majors, and conflict in each others lives and help provide some insight to other that are misinformed or need some sort of guidance. take it a that, and stop getting so worked up when you are being "attacked" ,I feel like I'm a 300 lineman at a women's abuse home.</p>
