<p>Not everyone can get a waiter position. In LA, you have to start at the bottom, which I believe is host/hostess for 6 months or more. Also, on top of that not many good restaurants in the area are hiring. Also, I don't know what kind of men/women you meet, but it's not that simple to move in with them at this age (18-22). Your suggestions are not valid in many people's case.</p>

<p>I work at a 15 table restaurant which is relatively small, if you have friends, getting an apt is fairly easy to get, and easier to pay for Changusmc.</p>
