Teach For America 2014 Corps

@Afradett91 I wouldnt worry, it should happen to you soon. I submitted mine the 23rd. So far today it seems theyve veriffied submissions from the 20th-23rd. Yours should be later today or tomorrow…

@RoleModel32, agreed. It will be interesting to see how the programs play out.

think it also depends on the region in which you interviewed. I turned in my TF on Feb. 21 and haven’t seen any documents verified yet.

Hey guys, If your documents have been verified already what region do you live in? I submitted my documents February 18th and I am still under review and no documents verified.

@StackHouse14 Mine just verified today, and I live in Los Angeles.

Mine verified either yesterday or early today and i interviewed in Atlanta on th 26th

I interviewed in Detroit. I submitted my documents on Feb. 21 and I just checked and none of my documents are verified and they are still under review. I guess some regions move faster than others.

I am going insane over this tf status change … i need to calm my nerves …Does anyone else has Los angeles as a #1 choice… I have not really seen anyone get placed there from the 3rd deadline… I hope its not full :open_mouth:

I also interviewed in Detroit on Feb. 24 but submitted my TF on Feb. 21. I am going to assume that all regions move faster than others.

@tfaplease during the q&a the other night, someone asked if any of the regions have met their incoming corp member quotas yet–and the answer was no. so all regions are still taking people on, apparently.

thank goodness thank you @mossmoss your so helpful!

@mossmoss Well that is good to know. Maybe the Detroit area is moving slow on updating their TF statuses or it could be how much funds to give out. I am thinking that those who are moving from one state to the next would get the most funding first. Who knows…

does anyone’s status page show this: [ServletException in:interview/interviewStatusContent.jsp] javax.servlet.jsp.JspTagException: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: An error occurred while evaluating custom action attribute “test” with value “${empty person.app.assignmentPrefNonCached}”: An error occurred while getting property “assignmentPrefNonCached” from an instance of class org.tfa.redwood.common.om.App (org.apache.torque.TorqueException: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00904: “ASSIGNMENTPREF”.“TWINCITIESINSTCONFLICT”: invalid identifier )’
?

@msmatt
Yes! same here

haha! Well I guess we’re out of the running for the Twin Cities guys ;)

perhaps this is a sign that they are sort of evaluating our applications and considering placement? I never even put twin cities on anything, lol. I am a Jacksonville girl!

but then when it says “test” I feel like it will be general to every applicant – although I want to be optimistic! What do we make of this? lol…

@msmatt, one can hope! i know this is just reading the tea leaves (or tea code lol) but maybe they’re getting to placements now

:>

yeah, I have that too, and never listed twin cities as a preference lol must be a glitch!
