maybe the servers are on overload and the systems went down.

I am from Athens, GA and my docs have been verified yet still under review status. As for the error message on logging in: you can still click on any of the tabs at the top and access your TF status as well as other parts of application. Hope this helps!

@needtoteach when did you submit all your TF docs?

However, I just tried to look at my preferences because I don’t remember my least preferred! Brain overload. It stated that due to high server traffic it could not process my request. I was able to access all other tabs except for assignment preferences!!!

@msmatt @tfa2260 yeah same goes for me, it shows me that when I tried to log in so I am a little confused haha.

@littleapple89 Feb. 19th

@needtoteach okay, it seems like those who got their forms in early are seeing some action, I interviewed in Alabama but did not submit docs until the 26th and 27th and have seen no changes yet.

@littleapple89 I have attempted to quit guessing what they are doing! I have only been a tiny bit successful. The process really doesn’t seem to have any rhyme or reason. I relooked at the past deadlines posts to see if there was a pattern and finally determined that there wasn’t one!

@needtoteach You’re probably right. I also looked at the previous deadlines and some of those who were admitted didn’t see any changes until the day of notification. I’m not giving up hope just yet! #:-S

@littleapple You shouldn’t give up hope, now or in the future. None of us should! Even if it didn’t work out this year, there is always next year. I have seen several applicants that were denied the first year applying and came back and were accepted the following year. Never give up hope if this is the dream for you

I hope youre right @idetr14 I have only got then interview survey.

I finally have access to assignment preference form. Guess everyone just tried logging in at 5:00 pm EST

I am not gonna go crazy over the TF status because there were people who got their TF status changed to yes and complete still did not get offers from TFA and beside, I did not submit my paperworks and documents until the night of Feb 28th so if anything, i won’t hear anything or see any changes until later this week or even as late as next week right before the Notification at 6PM on March 13th haha

congrats to everyone who is getting notices on their TF applications. I have yet to receive anything. (submitted and interviews on Feb 26th in Dallas, Tx) So well see. I put all the high need regions as places to go so I would think I would be a good candidate.

8 dayssss

I want to know all of the back-up plans that we have if we are not accepted to TFA or placed in a region that would not work out. What is the plan B for everyone?

@msmatt my Plan B is to continue my current job as director of a K-8 afterschool and summer camp program. What is yours?

@msmatt I have an offer with TNTP. I am also considering the Seattle Teacher Residency or the UTR that works with the Aspire schools. There are tons of alternative certification programs out there. I just happen to think TFA is the best :)

My plan B is to continue teaching in my urban school and finish my master’s degree to become a school administrator. A lot of things wouldn’t change for me, but it would be great to join a national movement that is so aligned to everything I believe in.

I am hearing a couple of folks having some positions lined up with TNTP. Is the application process just as difficult as TFA? Do you have to jump through an equal amount of hoops?
