Okay. Have you been following this thread for a while? If so, were there any people who didn’t have docs verified at all/ until last minute who also got in?

@TFatobe

@littleapple89 been following it for a month, went through most of the pages. There seemed to be a trend between TF and being accepted although there were a few cases were people had their TF verified but still rejected

I checked my TF earlier today and all my documents have a “YES” under verification
The status, however, still says “UNDER REVIEW.” I am glad to at least have this stress off my shoulders.

I did not apply for TF so I feel very out of the loop!

So a few days ago I was reading this thread and some people were saying they received phone calls or an email from a region representative for Teach For America. I then asked my friend who is a TFA teacher at my school about this and she said that she never received any call. She never had any indication of her status until the day of notifications. With that said, let’s all just take a deep breath and wait until March 13.

@msmatt That’s funny, I had an Arkansas rep contact me and we spoke on the phone. She wanted to inform me about the need here in my home state and see if I was considering Arkansas at all in my preferences. She was kind enough to let me in on her experience inside and outside of the classroom. Ultimately, Arkansas is not one of my highly desired regions but I did put it on the list.

We’ll see. Step one is just getting to March 13th and awaiting notification one way or another.

Side note, my TF status still says “Under Review” and my documents say “YES” to verified but there are no notes. Has anyone noticed any notes in their TF application?

Yeah I def think that it is a good sign, but basically, there are people who got accepted without contact also :). It did make me feel a bit more comfortable, but I am still a little on edge. I am going to spend this time until the 13th staying mentally occupied with school and work (teaching), lol. Hopefully time will fly.

I have yet to have any of my documents verified, still very worried. I submitted them Feb 26th

@Afradett91, none of my documents have been verified either. Its very stressful and borderline disappointing when other candidates see changes. However, if I don’t get in, it won’t be the end of the world, and I truly view it as their loss, as should you. With that being said, I sent an email last night and got a response that said, …“We will not update your status until after notification” fwiw.

@littleapple89 I completely agree. I have nothing updated either. I am getting nervous when everyone keeps saying it is tied with admission.

Less than a week now!

@littleapple89 @afradett91 Stay positive! theres still a lot of time left… I’m rooting for you guys. Actually I’m rooting for everyone on this forum :)

did anyone attend the webinar last night? anything interesting?

I am trying @natgeowild Thanks for that!

I don’t know about y’all, but I felt kind of unqualified because the other people who were interviewing were already on their master’s in education, have already taught, etc. I’m just a lowly senior in college! Anybody else get that feeling?

I totally forgot about the webinar. The 13th can’t come soon enough for me.

TF update (the not obsessing thing isn’t going so well, lol): All my docs are now verified, though status is still “Under Review”.

Been lurking here since November! Looks like all 4DL applicants on here have a great chance, and are hearing good news. I had my final interview on the 27th, it didn’t go too well.

I was wondering, has anyone else had their fields completely turn light grey under required actions in the applicant center? I just noticed this a few days ago…

@arkansas2014 YES lol mine did yesterday. why do you say the interview went bad?? what happened?

I still haven’t heard anything!!
