<p>I'm a high school junior
I have a 4.26 unweighted gpa
I have a 4.60 weighted gpa
I'm in the top 10 percent of my class
I took 10 honors classes so far and one AP (English Lang and Comp)
my combined sat score is an 1850: 650 critical reading, 580 math, 620 writing
I was captain/mentor on the cheerleading squad-member for 3 years so far
I participated in track for 2 years and planning to continue this year
I have been class president for 2 years
I participated in student congress for 3 years so far
I participated in My Central Jersey Snapple Bowl (all star football game for charity-I visited a benefitting school (Lakeview School for Cerebral Palsy) and volunteered there)
Overall, I have over 100 hours of community service thus far
I'm out of state</p>
<p>Nursing programs are typically harder to get into than the overall admissions for a university. Apply to lots of programs, and apply as early as possible.</p>
<p>I don’t know if Temple gives preference or not for in state applicants. Temple is not controlled by the PA. State government, so it may be just as happy accepting out of state applicants (with higher tuition) than in-state applicants.</p>
<p>You should definitlely get in. Your scores are definitely good enough. Just apply early !! My daughter was accepted into their nursing program with slightly lower scores, so I cant imagine why you wouldn’t. However it is quite competative, and they only admit approx
90 nursing students out of about 900 applicants. Good Luck.</p>
