Texas A&M spring transfer Admission

I got rejected from A&M for mechanical engineering for fall 2019. I wish to reapply in the spring semester for electrical or mechanical engineering. I have completed my AS with a 3.94 GPA but i do not have much volunteer or EC. What are my chances of getting in?

Do you have all of the course work complete for these majors, according to the A&M Transfer Course Sheets? http://admissions.tamu.edu/transfer/majors scroll down to the specific college and then specific major.

One thing that hinders transfers is space. No freshman is in a major and they apply to a major in April of their freshman year, with decisions in June for the following fall. Those who were not eligible to be placed in a major because they did not satisfy the requirements, can apply again the Fall of their third semester, with decisions in January. There are only X number of seats in each major and the most competitive applicants get those seats. If an student doesn’t get their first choice, the application is sent to the second choice major and on down the line. Fall seems to be the best time to transfer, according to the Data Reports. https://dars.tamu.edu/Student/Enrollment-Profile

According to the Data Reports,

Hi, I’m applying to A&M in the summer for the college of architecture or political science in the spring of 2020! I currently have 3.47 GPA with 28 transferable hours. Are my chance very low of getting in?
