Texas Contacted My Counselor

So Texas called my school counselor saying that they need an economics class or proof of education...(my AP Gov curriculum covers it) but that's besides the point. The point of the post is that I think that this is a good sign for my application, I feel that if they didn't want me or were considering rejection they would not have gone out of their way to ensure that I meet the requirements for my major. I have a 31 ACT and 3.65 UW GPA no rank, awesome EC's/Recs/Essays....just speculation but it sounds logical, what do y'all think?

I'm OOS BTW

Yeah, i see that in the same way. If you were clearly not going to be admitted they would not have put in the extra effort to call.

Oh btw, i see that you said your school doesn’t rank. I just recently submitted my app and the application status site already says it received my transcript, but not my high school rank. Does yours say the same when you checked your application status?

I agree that is a very positive sign. They have too many students to waste time on people they aren’t interested in.

Let us know when you find it. Which major did you put down that they were trying to verify entry standards?

Mine says “High School Attended Does Not Rank”…

I’m applying for economics, the admin told my college counselor I have 1 of 3 choices:
-Show that one of my classes is teaching it
-Take this summer
-Agree to take freshman year

My AP Gov class has a full unit of both macro and micro econ so I’m gonna send them the class syllabus
