What is the best thing (financially) to do with the textbooks, now that it is almost the end of the 1st semester? Thanks.

They don’t have fireplaces in any of the rooms, do they?

Sell them back to the bookstore the minute you are finished studying for finals!

Thank you, bff. That’s what I thought but was just wondering if there is such a thing as a student exchange, since everyone already knows what classes they are taking next semester. Fallenchemist, hahahahaha. Usually you are the one with answers to all my questions.

LOL, yeah this time not so much. I always kept most of my books, and I haven’t really checked with my D to see what she is doing. I think I heard her say something about taking them back to the bookstore when she is done. I am sure she won’t get much for them, but oh well. I bet you are right about an exchange of some kind. If you find anything out, post it so we all get more informed. I will do the same if she mentions it.

I bought them off of amazon and sold mine to the bookstore for more than what I paid for them!

There is now a group on Facebook where students post the titles of their old books and negotiate deals with classmates.

Search for “Tulane Book Trade” and you should find it. You will get much better deals than whatever you’ll see buying/selling at the bookstore.

Best of luck.
