By the end of this semester I will have my pre-reqs and IGETC done with a 4.0 cumulative.

Except for math.

If I'm a political science major, what level math do I need to take? I tested into a pre-calculus course, but I don't think I'd be able to pull it off with an A or even a B. It could slaughter my GPA. Can I just take a basic algebra course considering my major isn't too math intensive?

What if I'm taking the math class when I apply, or if I won't even be taking it until spring? Is that going to be a problem? Math classes are SO TOUGH to nab, let alone fit into my work schedule.

1)Statistics, College Algebra, and Calculus 1

2)take it when you apply (FALL), but if you take it during spring i think there’s gonna be a problem with that

If you really wanna fit in a math class jsut take an online statistics course. statistics is really easy because you’re just plugging numbers into a formula.

Plus, i think stats could have applications to poli sci so…

PS: differential equations (a math class after calculus) has applications to political science. or that’s what my professor say. he’s not joking btw

take stats. it involves numbers and such but it really isnt orthodox math. just plug some numbers into a given formula and you have your answer for the most part.

Ok, I think I can score a stats class this summer or in the fall at the latest. As long as I only have to take one math class I think I can get my math done by spring 2012…

Unless UC Berkeley is going to want to see more than one math course?
