The best magazine for SAT?

what is the best magazine for SAT CR part?
economists? New Yorker? Times? or other?

economist . i read news magazines a lot like times , u.s. news , and newsweek etc. The Economist presents the information in a way that even different from other magazines. Very provocative and fun to read!

Other favorites are the Wall Street Journal.

I agree, the Economist is excellent. Its articles are concise, interesting and well-written. Its remarkably funny too. A while back there was an article comparing the EU with the corus (however you sepll that) of an acient greek play... highly amusing!

TIME is the best

Economist = radically liberal.

Just throwing that out there.

"Economist = radically liberal"

unlike what? the new york times? just saying that most papers/news magazines are liberal unless you're watching fox news. also, i don't see how the economist is THAT liberal unless you say that supporting free trade or globalization is liberal? All I see is them reporting on issues around the world with some unique analysis

The Economist may be liberal, but there is nothing radical about it. Its an unusually down-to-earth, sound magazine.

One thing about TIME magazine that I don't like, especially when reading it with the SAT in mind, is how wordy and long-winded it is. The Economist is much better written. The articles are much more succinct and use a wider variety of good words.

How about The New Yorker?

Oh, I also strongly recommend FOX News, with a side dish from Jon Stewart's The Daily Show.

Then, if you want to be serious, read the SAT MAGAZINE.

I use economist

Scientific American for CR.

young_one, yes it is extremely liberal -- just like the NYTimes.
The New Yorker is also a bit liberal.

I read The Sun (NY), The Atlantic, and The Weekly Standard. All are conservative.
Just offering another angle on things.

JIMMY@KILLARNEY, what is the "SAT Magazine"?

shadow, he was joking..

FOX NEWS?! Full of conservative BS

It's my paradox, is it not? FOX News + The Daily Show
