The Entry level writing requirement...

I'm so upset that I do not meet any of the requirements to forgo this requirement; I got a 660 on the writing portion of the SAT. Has anyone ever taken this exam? How difficult is it? Any information would be helpful!

you could always retake the writing SAT, especially if you took it a long time ago. it'd beat dealing with an unfamiliar test.

anyone actually take the exam?

i got 640 but i don't want to retake the SAT. hope the entry level writing exam wont be hard.

wait.. how do you know you met the requirements?

what happens if you fail the writting section?

My d took it two years ago. It was a simple prompt and you just wrote an essay on it.

Honestly, a lot of kids from my high school end up going to UCs, and they say it's a complete joke and its just to filter out all the kids who had terrible high school programs and weren't taught what a Thesis statement is.

can you take this exam online?

u cant take it online

i was told the exam is like two or three essays and some multiple choice questions

Waattt? i never saw anywhere u could take it online

My older bro took it after not scoring above the SAT line and he said even a retard that can spit out 3 paragraphs would pass it. I got a 740 on the writing though so I set.

Oh man, I am OOS, does this mean I have to fly all the way to UCSD to take that test..?

try again u can take it when u get here in september before the start of classes

awesome. by the way, since i am oos, anything that happens in ucsd before june i don't think i can attend. is there anything that is mandatory to that date?
