saadi maa nu putt ni labhne, tennu yaar bathere

I just realized yesterday night was the most fun I’ve ever had on an online forum thanks to you guys :D

"saadi maa nu putt ni labhne, tennu yaar bathere "

OK that means, The boy’s reply to the possessive girl who is telling her boyfriend to leave his parents for her,

“My mother will not find another son but you on the other hand will find a lot of boyfriends.”

You can watch the video if you want

<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube;

@Tizil and D&D- haha yes! This forum is fun without making you feel that its a total waste of time xD
@Tizil- I don’t know! My options arent limited to the US colleges. If i go abroad it will be only for one of the best colls and with >90% aid. Otherwise, hello St Xaviers. But thanks for the suggestion. And i will be sending apps to some non LA colls too, like Cornell or Columbia, because they have strong programmes and offer decent aid to int students.

I havent even heard of Honey Singh, and seems like thats a good thing.

One of my neighbors got in on full aid. She’s studying there now. There’s definitely a chance.

Seriously full aid in cornell? Did she get through last year, because only one girl from DPS rkp got aid… My friend didn’t get any aid…

haha yeah last night was groovy.
From lonely island, we’ve gone to honey singh.

this india forum is so NOT bizarre but truly, awesome! :)

Yep, it was Aishani. She got through with full aid. Whatta a senior :open_mouth:
Here’s a photo of her with our coughprincipalcough

Awesome! I found out about her by randomly stalking profiles on Facebook.
Two people for Penn State! Is anyone of you applying there?
I am getting emails from IUPUI… :\ is it worth taking a look at?

Chona was your principal right? when did she change? I am kinda out of touch…

Nah, I didn’t take pains to learn about her, she was pretty famous in my old school for wrong reasons haha

Oh cool! so am I… I am so confused about the campus systems… I think University Park is the best one…
Also, are you applying to any other state uni’s as well?

For those in the process of writing essays

Thanks for the link @anialways

Yup, it is!

veethiv - if you want an American parent perspective on IUPUI, post a note in parents of 2012 thread. Several of them visited the college and some of their kids are applying.

I found the same thing anialways posted for SAT II. I guess SAT controls copyright and so it is not easy to find some of them online if it is copyrighted.

If someone is looking for a school in the range of 25,000 USD and expect it to be a ranked school by the time they graduate, I suggest University of Houston. The only Indian Chancellor running a major university in US, Renu Khator, has kept improving the profile of the school over the past 3-4 years steadily. I was surprised to see UH charging only 150% for non-residents while other texas schools are in the range of 300+ % in tuition.

@texaspg, Thank you! I shall post it there only then.
Thank you for the University of Huston link, however, this school is unranked in USNEWS.
So, would it be worth spending $32,120 there?

Thank you Anialways, your posts are immensely useful and informative, as usually :)

Veethi! Unfortunately, she retired 2 years ago :frowning: She was amazing. But these days more students get Red Blazers and become prefects … so it’s good or bad depending on how you see it.

Hey Tizil7
How are you doing. I see you are on top of your college stuff all wrapped, unlike my freshman daughter who is still getting over her habit of procrastination and in the process of piling up her work. I can see some Blessed parents out there.

You guys are welcome ,anytime. Am glad I am doing something useful…

@darkdown:I like the '70 Hemi Cuda better though
And Honey Singh is awesome :D

DPS seems like a great school. Especially due to the second-from-right girl :P

I am appalled at your lack of love for Organic Chemistry. It remains one my favorite sub-topics of Chemistry since it was introduced to me.

Ahh. I just noticed the grammatical error I made in the sentence praising Anialways’ posts. So embarrassing :D

I am good Anialways! Thanks for you asking  I hope you are doing good as well. I am trying my best to be on time with my essays and other such things so that I can get ample time to re-edit them and perhaps make them better. But I am far from completing anything right now. I am currently focussing on the Novemeber test - my last SAT ever :D

Funny how we agree on more things than one ;)
