My mil called. She received one of the pantsuits and itās too big. Iām not surprised, she buys clothes so rarely these days so sheās thinking sheās still a 6 when sheās probably a 4 or even a 2 today.
How easy is it to return to Dillards? Iām going to wait until the other pantsuit shows up to initiate a return.
The other thing is that the stores assume you have access to a computer. To either print out a label or get a QR code for the post office or UPS. She is not computer literate. Iād like to figure this out for her. She could do it herself but I can do it much easier.
Thatās a beautiful dress, and I love V-necks. I can see a gorgeous black necklace and bracelet with that dress.

I agree about black sandals, but Iād keep the straps thin to not pull the eyes down. Maybe an ankle strap?
And I was loving the pop of the pink band with the colors in the dress!

I think black shoes could be nice. Macyās is having a sale, fairly quick turnaround on mail order. (I ordered a bunch, will return to store).
I am test driving these, in the light purple color. Pretty comfortable. Oh only size 10 in black.

Probably too clunky for debās dress, but for non-wedding summer use I ordered these Clark wedge sandals in white (on a day where I somehow got a $58 deal). Really comfortable.

I should clarify that for me today they show up as $74 (not $58). Still a decent deal for Clarkās.

Iām going to wait on finding shoes. Itās a long story but the brideās parents are divorced. The father of the bride whom we are related to is short on any details.
Iāll wait until I get an invite to figure out if itās outside or inside. My mil keeps saying itās on a boat but I think that might be the rehearsal dinner. And with any luck 
, we wonāt be invited to that.
Since my former sister in law was rude to me the last time I saw her, Iām hoping for as little contact as possible with her.
Changing the subject a bit. Weāre at our sonās and had a fabulous dinner at the wedding venue last night where FDIL told us that they decided to host the entire event inside the hotel to avoid weather issues and keep it all air-conditioned. So happy.

I hit a little snag on the dress I picked out, in my opinion.
Since my bil is an oversharer 
, I know how much he is contributing to the wedding. And that my niece bought a $4400 dress.
Yesterday we got a save the date for this wedding in September. Itās at a public park in their small town. My mil thinks that there is a pavilion in the park and maybe thatās where the reception is?
Iām thinking the dress is going to be too much for a public park wedding. In my mind Iām thinking a shelter and buckets of KFC but my bil is paying way too much for that!
I love this dress though. I donāt want to return it.
Will it be ok for a June wedding in the BVI? Thatās the next wedding and Iāll be the MOB.
