the FR was ridiculous. #3 i probably got 10% of it.

Yeah that’s pretty far into 5 territory, anything above 65% is probably a 5, personally I think I got around 90-95%.

I didn’t think that #3 was exceptionally difficult, we can’t talk specifics yet but we can say which number we thought was difficult.

I didn’t find any one problem exceptionally difficult personally, I just thought that the test was different overall.

i thought the fr was easier than the mc…

I just loved how the FR was so concept based. It is a chemistry exam after all and I’m glad they realized that.

I think it was too concept based actually.

Math is a very important part of some branches of chemistry.

Well when you think of the AP chemistry subset, most of the topics covered are not HEAVY in math. Also, it’s not like this test didn’t test math skills. It’s just that in order to apply the math, knowing what to do was based on if you knew the concepts. (If that made sense :P)

I agree that the math should all be applied math and that a knowledge of concepts is should be necessary. I thought that there was no enough math this time, not that it really affected me.

I think i totally bombed the multiple choice. I made the stupid mistake of answering all but a few of the q’s. I mean, I took “educated guesses” and could narrow stuff down, but a lot of my answers were guesses. I felt wayyy more confident on the free response question. I’m aiming for at least a 4, but i know that from my performance on the free response, i got at least a 3, if not much higher. I mean, if I 5 is like 2/3 right, then I may have gotten a 5 hehe.

I bombed the first part A of FR… MC was Okay…

5 is probably a stretch… 4 is more realistic

I would be surprised if I got a 3, but definitely possible…

did anyone else think that one of the mc questions was misprinted? reading it just didn’t make sense in my mind

Thoughts:
My chances of a 5 I think were shot after the MC. My first pass through the test I only answered 25 out of the 75 questions… at the end I counted 14 skipped questions.
FRQs overall were ok… I did bad on Part A though, I left a lot blank, so I had to rush through Part B (which I thought was pretty easy mostly) to finish off the things in Part A that didn’t require a calculator. I think I got a 3 or 4, leaning more towards 3… what percent do you need for a 4?

That’s exactly what you’re supposed to do. People are way too conservative with their guessing strategies. If you know for sure that one of the answers is wrong and you lean towards another, fill it in.

MC pretty good got answered 70/75 probably got around 60-65 of them. FRQ was pretty much a joke I am pretty confident that I got all but one or two right

i thought that the mc was really hard prbly only got around 50 right

but then the fr was a gift from god

i expect about 70 points from fr

MC was death
FR was so good mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Lol, I felt almost the other way around?

But I screwed up some bubbling so I might’ve misplaced some answers, haha.

Lol, other way around for me.
MC was easy
FRQ was death-like (well I probably got a 60%)
I’m thinking around any where from a high 4 to a low 5

well the MC for me is (based on the one practice we did in class) like, “i have no idea what the answer to this question is but i know something related so i’ll use logic and guess that this is the answer”
and so i put the answer and feel good about it
and then it turns out that i was supposed to use this other related concept and get the complete opposite answer

whereas my logic for FR works better 'cause they kinda walk you through what logical steps to take

but uhmm yeaaah
chemistry is all lies

Lol you sound like my friend Poseur. He’s like “chemistry is fake and chemists just use weird formulas and numbers to prove untrue things”. hahaha
