The University of Alabama admissions question

Does UA require both GED scores and high school transcripts for the distance education programs?

I’m just trying to figure out if I need to send both because I have less than 24 college credits.

I just checked my application status and they received my GED scores but the status is blank. There is also a requirement for college transcripts but I was told prior college education is not required. I was accepted at another college with the same score requirement as UA. They received my scores April 23. Is it too early to start worrying?

Do you need to send test scores?

Did you send your college transcript?

I think you should call the number above.

There was a hold on my application. College transcripts are not required so they removed the requirement. Hopefully I hear something soon.

I just checked my application and noticed the student tab. It wasn’t there before. I am a distance learner. I guess I’ll have to wait until tomorrow and call.

Sounds like you’ve been accepted. congrats.

Thank you. When I click on the Student tab it says “Unauthorized Access”. This has me a little worried. Do you think it needs to be updated?

I emailed admissions and was told my application is still under review. I am so confused. Why is there a student tab on mybama when my application is under review?

Hmmm…I don’t know. Do you have any grades/transcripts outstanding?

No. I guess I’ll just have to wait it out. Thanks for your help :)

Well. Now the Student tab is gone. I don’t understand what’s going on. I am a little discouraged. :frowning: I hope I get some good news soon.
