Thick Envelope, thin envelope?

Thanks guys! It's a weird feeling changing my prstats account from "pending" to "accepted" :D

Haha newt I was just thinking about how much fun it was to change the Yale status from "Not applied" to "Pending!"

Think about how much more so it will be when you can change it from pending to accepted!

Ahh don't tease me! :(

tis not to tease, but to dream,
not only to dream, but to sleep,
but, to sleep, is to dream, and dreams,
are OF YALE.
yea, yea, im crazy

yes you are

Well this is kinda irrelevent but I got accepted at the University of Bristol in the UK (a conditional offer - I need to get 2As and 1B in the A levels, with an A in math - shoudn't be a problem). I applied to 6 universities in the UK mostly for fun (and the joy of knowing that I'm wanted somewhere - assuming I would be accepted in at least one university there, that is) - I really want to go to the US! Also, UK universities don't give financial aid and I can't afford to go without.

Congrats anyway!!!

Wgman--Sorry if I alarmed you when I said they posted the results: How it works (or at least how it worked last year) is that they send you information to set up a user name and password so that you can check your decision online after it's posted late in the day (US time) on December 15. No one else can see your results--although there was a scandal in 2002 when some Princeton officials reportedly hacked into the Yale system to check on admissions decisions (<a href="http://www.yaledailynews.com/article.asp?AID=19454%5B/url%5D">http://www.yaledailynews.com/article.asp?AID=19454</a>). Presumably Yale has improved their security since then.

what time of day? that might be embarassing to check @ school.....

Last year the results were posted sometime between 5 and 6 pm EST.

oh goodie. I can do it @ home! :) or :(
