<p>It really isn't.</p>

<p>So my cousin got into the summer program when he applied for admission into UT @ Austin Fall class of 2012. He was told that classes begin on June 16, but he has this national music competition for that entire week. Is there any leeway around him going to the first week of the summer school? We've left messages with admisions and so on. Has this situation happened to anyone before?</p>

<p>I've posted this on three different forums and haven't received huge responses, so I am now invading the most poppulated forum on CC.</p>

<p>Well, if I were him I'd call the college to find out what to do. Summer programs don't usually last more than a month, so a week would really cut into his time in the program</p>
