Nah, you don’t have to submit your SIR or deposit yet.

“This application is for requesting on-campus housing ONLY. If you decide to attend UC San Diego, you must also submit your SIR. Submitting your Statement of Intent confirms your acceptance of admission to UCSD.”

konakai27 - no worries, until you officially send the SIR with the deposit, you have not commited to anything. Your acceptance of those terms is on the same footing as when you submit a housing application - nonbinding unless you go ahead and send in the SIR later.

Milky_Monroe - you will apply for single/double/triple in May I think (?) perhaps June. And then you don’t find out what you got until late August. The most important part is the preliminary housing app, which you have done. This will ensure you get your first choice when you do apply.

haha, yes VERY important guys… I didn’t send mine in (because i was planning on going to USC until money became a problem…) and I had to live off campus for a quarter. It wasn’t that bad, but living on-campus is pretty convenient.
