yeah apply right now so u get the highest priority.
and theres no string attached :]

Thanks for the advice! I thought we had to submit our intent to attend before applying for housing.

I submitted the Housing Application but now, the "Congratulations...you have been admitted" page is not showing up. Is this happening for you guys (the people that submitted the Housing Application) too? Or is i just me?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I had no clue, i was going to wait for another month. even though i just submitted now (24 hrs after admit), i still have a good chance at a double right?? UCSD isnt my top choice but its definitely in my top 3!

yea. i'm having the same problem. There's no "you are accepted" page now

Yeah yeah if you submitted in the first few days I would say you're almost guaranteed to get a double. Most people find out about this at admit day/when housing sends an email, so all of you are way ahead.
I know you can get back to your acceptance letter, there should be a button somewhere! I remember this specifically... just search around that site for a minute... sorry I am not much help I just can't see it!

when i clicked the "housing application" button, it goes to a page where it has my info, and then a "continue" button. do i click the "continue" button? then what do i do?
thanks, it's just a bit confusing here lol

^ Yeah just click continue. That's literally all you do, it shouldn't even be called an application. But it gets you priority so it's super important!

the admit page is back up. and sports, yes click continue. you basically just apply. no picking anything or whatnot. ucsandiego915, so is it a first come, first serve basis? so the very first people that applied for housing will get to choose if they want a double or triple? or do they automatically assign doubles to the first applicants?

after that, i then clicked the "submit housing application" button.
after i printed out the confirmation page w/ my info and stuff, am i done?

^ Yep. This just gives you priority when it comes time to actually decide your housing arrangements.

so they'll just contact us in the summer later?

gilmorelove4life - you'll get to choose in around May or June your preference (single, double, triple). The people who submit their housing app first get their first choice.

What can I do? I was accepted for winter quarter... T_T

Winter quarter people are put on a housing waitlist and are notified when a spot opens up. That will occur in the fall though, so don't worry about housing quite yet.

thanks again for the heads up UCSD915.
