The person from louisiana is from shreveport. Gollygoshkins, lol, there are 8 from the UK. They don't say how many applied by region.

do you know how many from western/ central europe were accepted? and from which countries?

Just curious, where in Kansas were the admits from? I'm assuming all KC suburb kids.

Foldedpaper: the person from surrey who got admitted isn't even a CC member... I know her personally. A huge surprise for her, but I'm glad she made it.

how many got accepted from india?

Lol, can you just take a screenshot of the page and just post that image. I think it'll be easier for you, haha.

Wow, I was in Surrey for the past week; it's quite nice.

Quixotic: wait, you're talking about Surrey BC?

Umm... you thought it was nice? It has like the highest auto theft rate in North America, plus a lot gun violence, but okay?

Sam: Are you sure she's not on CC? She goes to Semiamhoo and has like a 2390, right? Whatever...

Sorry, I would post a screenshot if all of the information was on one page, but it's all linked to separate pages by country (for internationals) or by state (for domestics), so that would be way too many images.

The Kansas admits are from Olathe, Overland Park, and Lawrence. Nobody got in from India (I've already said that on this thread, please make sure I haven't already answered your question before asking it again >_<)

Haha yeaa I know her too sort of.

2390 + like 5 800's on subject tests. Wow, small world.

haha sorry.. i thought i saw it somewhere but i must have missed it...
how many accepted/deferred/rejected?? i forgot.,..

It should be on your accepted/deferred/rejected page

Yes, I was in Surrey, British Columbia last week. I felt that it was quite nice. However, I do like San Francisco (and America) a ton better, haha.

Not sure if I understand this. I know at least one person from India who has an EA acceptance!

None are listed on the page. It confuses me, too.

hey amb3r

could you tell me how many from central and south america got in?

and are your data for int'ls where the applicant applied from or their nationality?

thanx!

In general, is it deemed to be more difficult to get accepted to Yale as an international or does the international applicant have some sort of diversity edge. Just curious?

"What went wrong is that every single person from my school that got accepted was a legacy."

I would like to say that legacy does NOT ensure that you're accepted. I have legacy and I was deferred and disappointed just like the 3000 others. Don't hate on people because they happen to have parents with legacy and get into the school you want, please. For every legacy applicant who gets in there are many more who don't. The letter my Dad got about my chances stated that many legacy applicants get turned down every year.

Odd. The admitted students website lists no early acceptances from India.

Hey amb3r where did you get the stats for how many people got in?

Admitted Yalies website.
