To those that got 2300+

What do you eat?

Home cooked meals everyday? Fresh meats and veggies? Or does everything come from a box?

I'm just wonder whether the alarming amount of frozen, preserved, year-old stuff I eat is having an impact on my SAT score.

That's a funny question. I thought you were joking at first.

I don't think your regular diet affects test performance as much as, say, what you had to eat the night before or the morning of the test.

I normally eat both home cooked food and processed crap/fast food, but I got into this weird habit of eating scrambled eggs before SATs/APs. I guess because of the high protein content or something.

Just stay away from sugar, it'll make you crash after an hour or two.

Haha, yea, it does sound like a joke at first. But I'm serious... I find TV dinners extremely appetizing...

Thanks for your input! :)

i dunno if it's affecting your SAT, but it's gonna make you a fatty. Cut that sht out and eat fresh foods

I ate a bowl of cereal before the SATs. And I was hungry the whole time. Something like eggs is probably better.

I eat eggs before standardized tests too! Also I get an ice capp from Timmy Hoho's because it's so yummmmy

All I ever eat is hamburgers, pizza, chicken, and doritos. Oh, and Lean Pockets... Lean because I'm trying to make sure I eat healthy... I, of course, eat ice cream and cake and cookies, as well...

Eggs make me sick, so I don't eat those... I'm picky.

I think I ate oatmeal before my SAT.

My stomach was cramping and noisily rumbling the entire test, and I felt miserable and self-conscious.

Managed a 2350 though, so heck.

this is, without a doubt, my favorite cc question ever :)

i don't eat anything until the evening most days, so i usually take tests on an empty stomach.

(oh, and i scored over 2300. since that was one of the qualifications on the question.)

My superscore is exactly 2300. Can I answer on this thread? Not that I have a special answer, but... :)

ice cream, it makes you smile

Eat bananas before the test! They make you full and helps you to concentrate :D

i honestly don't think it matters unless you have a really sensitive stomach. I didn't eat much at all for breakfast. Sure my stomach started growling a bit nearing the end, but i still pulled over 2300. Just eat a light breakfast and don't worry about it

haha funny thread- i ate some grapes and brought a bottle of water and pulled it off...dont worry about eating tho, prep!

eat eggs mojiggga!!! eggs and bacon/sausages be4 the test

and i lovefrozen dinners too mmmm $1 michelinas u just down and eat 2-3

but i stopped in january (which is actually when i took my test) coz i was packin the poundage

I didn't eat before the test. I just had one Monster Energy before the test and one during (after section 5 or 6).

i had a muffin for breakfast and a pack or two of minimuffins during the test.

I eat horribly, and i got a 2360. just bring enough food that you won't be hungry.

though i do suggest eating lots of turkey because a. it tastes good and b. it has lots of protein. Just a general suggestion.

i eat like sht, it's pretty bad

eat healthy food. My mommy cooks for me everyday because she loves and cares for me :)

On a serious note, eat chocolate (helps so much- gets your blood sugar up so you don't get hungry and doesn't take much space so you don't need to use the bathroom) the morning of the test and bring Gatorade to the test room with you.

2 Egg Sandwiches with lots of oil and grease + bacon / sausages + hot cocoa or hot tea. Of course, this is what you want to eat if you want to score below a 2300, which is relevant in my case.
