to those who've already been accepted... anywhere

did you have all of your IGETC requirements finished by the end of Fall '08?

what about major prereqz?

I got into sd on the 14th and i’m finishing igetc and major prereqs in the spring.

I got into UCSD on the 14th, as well. I finished IGETC back in Fall 08 but ill have my major prereqs done this spring.

I had it all done by the end of fall '08.

Not taking any classes this semester.

I’ve been accepted to UCSC and UCSB and have yet to hear from UCLA and Cal. My major prerequisites are done, but I’m taking one required course to finish IGETC right now.

I’ve had it all done since spring 2008.

I think I did for IGETC, but for my major prereqs I was missing 1 or 2 at the most.

I’ve only heard back from UCSB so far, but I am taking one prereq and one course under IGETC right now.

i have 2 igetc classes in progress right now and haven’t done all my pre-reqs (missing accounting and math 130)

oh and admitted to UCSB so far, still waiting on SD, LA, and Berkeley

In at UCSD, all IGETC done, 1 major pre-req being taken now, Spring 2009.

I only heard back from SB so far. I completed IGETC by fall 08. I only had one required prereq for UCLA that i’m currently taking this semester. Since the other schools (SD) did not require completion of prereqs, I didn’t overload myself on units this semester bc I didn’t want to go over 60

Accepted at UCSD on Saturday and UCSB an hour ago. Had 38 units when I applied, had two IGETC courses in progress in the winter intersession and now have two IGETC courses in progress this spring.

Major pre-reqs were done by end of Fall 08 though.

did any of you get this email? or something like it?
from: admissions-review@ucop.edu

Dear Pinkerfloyd,

We have received your University of California Undergraduate Application for Admission and Scholarships. Thank you for your interest in our campus.

We are in the process of reviewing your application. Before we can complete our review and reach an admission decision, we need the following information from you:

You are currently enrolled in a winter 2009 statistics course through UCLA Extension. This course is required for minimum eligibility to the UC. When you complete this course in a couple of week, ask your professor to send you an email with your final, official grade. [An email notification should be available sooner than waiting for the final grade to be posted to a transcript; time is of the essence.] Copy and paste this information in an email to me.

We must receive this information within five days of the end of your course, or processing of your application may be delayed or canceled.

Please click ‘reply’ to send your response and include this original message. If you have information to send to us, such as course updates, please send it in the body of the email versus an attachment.

Sincerely,

UC Los Angeles Undergraduate Admissions

Please note: This communication and your response may be shared and reviewed by the following campuses to which you may have applied: Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, Santa Barbara, and San Diego.

???

No.

10character.

No, because I’ve completed IGETC.

not from UCLA, i got it from UCD.
i think it’s alright, just click the link and update the information they need.

Accepted at UCSB.

Never received any emails similar to that one. Currently taking two courses that will complete IGETC and will have at the minimum 80% prereqs done for all campuses applied to at the end of semester.

I completed IGETC and I am in the process of completing my major reqs. I got accepted into UCSB and UCSC for Sociology. And waiting to hear from Cal for American Studies. 3.3 GPA.

I got an email like that from SB and SC for stats as well and got accepted to both schools. They wanted to know my midterm/current grade ASAP instead of my final grade, though. Do you end classes any time soon? If not, you should call the admissions office and ask them if sending your current grade will be fine in lieu of the final grade, since they said time is crucial. Best of luck to you

Pinkerfloyd,

i have the similar email like yours, but mine was regarding the A-level exam I took back in Hong Kong.
Did you fax them or click “reply” to email back to them?

Did you receive an email saying they have received your material after then?
