Non-native English speakers who are attending English-speaking schools are also encouraged to sit for the TOEFL, because this test may yield a higher score than the verbal portion of the SAT Reasoning Test.

<p>The implication is that if you attend an English-speaking school, you are not required to take TOEFL, but it still is encouraged. If you want to verify that, I’d recommend that you contact the appropriate Regional Admissions Officer–see the bottom of the following page:</p>
