Too Early for Early?

My app for Harvard SCEA is basically complete and ready to be submitted through CommonApp. I just worry that maybe I am submitting the app too early. Is it normal to submit the application in September or will I be one of the first apps that Byerly reviews?

You can submit it now; but I personally know that they won't be reviewing any applications until early October. (My admissions officer is on vacation until Labor Day).

yeah I would read it, put it away for a week or 2, and then read it again, and then do the same a couple times and send it mid-October. if something changes and you realize you made a mistake you will be ****ed at yourself for having submitted it like that so early. And Harvard isn't going to start reading for a while so you don't have to worry about not being first.

I thought they set aside a certain period of time to review all applications? Like after the deadline and before the notification date. So there's no advantage to applying early... earlier.
