Train from Stanford to Dublin

Is there any way to take a train from Dublin to Stanford. How long would it take?

you will have to make a few transfers.
Take the Caltrain from Palo Alto to Millbrae Transit Center. Then take the BART (only open at Millbrae Monday to Friday before 7 PM) to balboa park, glen park, 24th street, 16th street, civic center, powell street, montgomery, embarcadero, or west oakland on the Richmond-Daly City/Millbrae line. Then, from any of those stations, transfer to the Dublin/Pleasanton/Daly City line.

After 7 PM or on weekends, i don’t know how :\ you would probably have to take the Caltrain into the city, then walk to one of those BART stations, but i’m not really that familiar with the area.

^I think after 7 and on weekends the SFO airport BART line is in operation (right?).

In that case you could get to SFO by supershuttle (like 20 dollars, which is only 14 more than caltrain, and proceed from there).

Or if you take caltrain to downtown and then walk to BART, it’s only about a 20 minute walk or so to the Market Street area (or probably 5-6 bucks for a cab). Literally a straight walk north from the station. That wouldn’t be fun with luggage though, or at night. It’s a kinda sketchy area.

Correct me if I’m wrong on any of these. I’ve only traveled by BART once, and only been downtown a few times.
