Transcript translations

How should I have my transcripts translated if i want to apply in an ivy league college?

You should check the webpages of the universities that you are interested in. In some cases you need a company to translate them, in others you can have them translated by your english teacher.

You can NOT translate them by yourself, just a friendly reminder.

I’m gonna disagree - you can prepare the translation yourself, as long as the school is comfortable certifying those translations as accurate (and assuming you know what you’re doing). I translated my transcripts myself. The vice principal (who was acting as my guidance counselor during the admissions process) looked them over to make sure that I didn’t fudge the grades, put a school seal on it, and submitted them together with my school reports.

I would not expect a teacher or school administrator to do the legwork to prepare translations of school documents. Not part of their job description. Either do it yourself or pay someone to do it for you.

b@r!um what if the school States the opposite?

If the college/university in question, or your own secondary school specifically requires that you not be involved in the translation, then you can’t.
