Transfer admissions letter of recommendation question

Hey all!
If a student decides to transfer out of a university after a year, can they use a letter of recommendation from a teacher they had their senior year of high school to augment their transfer application?

augment? sure. But given the time/distance from when you were in that instructor’s classroom … it’s no where near as good as a college instructor’s rec.

Go to the college website and read their instructions for LORs.

If you’re talking about Instructor LORs, most colleges want them from college Profs/TAs, but there are exceptions.

If you’re talking about supplemental LORs, then like T26E4 says, you can do it, but it is likely to be less effective than one from a college instructor.

Alright cool, thanks you guys.
