Congrats to everyone who has already gotten in! Lucky! I’m a little worried because my application hasn’t been marked complete but they haven’t contacted me about it. On my app tracker it says they’re missing my transfer report, but literally every other school I applied to got it just fine and Barnard is closest to me…ugh it’s frustrating. Is anyone else having this problem?? I don’t want to get rejected bc of it but it was an absolute pain to get from my current college the first time

@CJCregg2016 I had the same issue with one of my documents. I sent it in months ago but it wasn’t showing up on the online tracker. I just emailed them a few days ago about it and they said they have it, it just wasn’t updated on the tracker.
If all the other schools you applied to got it, I’m sure Barnard also received it–especially since they haven’t contacted you about it. If anything, I would send them a quick email just to confirm that they have your transfer report. Good luck!

<3 Here’s what I know, and maybe this will help you guys out:
- I found out via email. They haven't given me my financial aid info yet. They said I'll get a physical acceptance packet via snail mail this week.
- My application tracker has always been incomplete. And yet, they still must have gotten all my stuff. Don't worry about what it says (and doesn't say) on the tracker; they do a bad job of updating it.
I hope you all get in!!! I want to see all of your lovely faces around Morningside Heights next year! <3
@HayleyRT1997 Huge congratulations to you girl! So proud! Do you know of anyone else who was notified on Friday? And if so, did any of those people get rejected?
@deepcountrygirl in early March, late Feb? Sent it along with my transcripts, which they have.

I hope we all hear back (positively!) soon. I go to school upstate and Barnard is basically everything I want in a college.
From what the head of transfer admissions told me, I really don’t think they were doing rejections on Friday. Just acceptances. There’s supposed to be a batch of letters sent out in early May, but maybe the Friday admits were those letters and they just jumped the gun… Then there’s the mid-May admits and rejections. I don’t know of anyone else admitted on Friday; honestly, I don’t know of anyone else beside the people on this site who applied at all! xD

I emailed Barnard asking if they could give me any further information about when the rest of the admissions decisions will be sent out and they responded: “We notify transfer applicants of their decisions on a rolling basis through mid-May; the timing of decision release is not dependent on acceptance status. We thank you for your patience”. It’s a pretty vague response but that doesn’t really surprise me. I’m super nervous too but I’m glad that I found this thread so that at least some people understand how nervous I’m feeling, haha!
I guess that means more people could hear back this week! Crossing my fingers for all of us!

You’re welcome, the curiosity was just eating away at me so I finally decided that one email couldn’t hurt! And I hadn’t really thought about us hearing back this week too but they could even possibly be sending out some emails every week!
I wish I’d known this thread existed before now! I’m pretty nervous about decisions. Did anyone else have really high test scores and college GPA but low high school GPA? I have great recs and I think my essays are pretty good too, but I really feel worried about the sub-par high school grades 
@Jultess523 My high school GPA got really hurt the second semester of senior year because I felt so hopeless when all my applications were cancelled! So I’ve also been pretty worried about that, especially because I didn’t address it directly in any of my essays or extra information… Hopefully they see that we know how to handle college though and are doing better in a more challenging academic environment!
I wish they’d give us a date when they’d tell us! I’m so anxious every time I open my email!! Like I want to have an email from Barnard but I know my heart would drop if I did!
I’m curious to see if they will send out any more emails this Friday or if they are going to wait until the 13th maybe? And my heart drops whenever I open my email too!
Same, I keep refreshing my email just in case! I thought they were gonna give us a date when all decisions would be sent, but now it seems to be rolling decisions. Considering someone got admitted last Friday, maybe this Friday will be the next announcement!
