I dont think they post decisions over the weekend, but I have noticed a trend from last year and from some people this year that for CLAS decisions are posted after 5 on Wednesday and Friday of each week.

I’m going to live on campus the first year. I know off campus is probably cheaper and possibly nicer, but I think being on campus and in the middle of things is probably a good idea for the first year.

I’m hoping for something in the Murphree area (not Buckman or Thomas though, I’ve lived in FL too long to survive without A/C!) or Beaty.

@juan this is a huge concern especially for engineers. A couple of my friends who were accepted in February submitted their application a couple weeks ago for campus lodge say that it is pretty competitive for there, and it might be even harder for on campus housing.

This is really damn slow. Still no decision from CALS. Should’ve applied to CLAS. admission guy told me that there is no difference between these schools

@jaymaster I applied to CALS as well and I’m getting so anxious! I sent in my app at the end of January what about you? I also know that they’ve extended their deadline. Last year it was early June and now it’s July 15th. It’s ridiculous, we have a long wait ahead of us.

Maybe it is too early to think about this, but when do you guys think we should start reserving a spot at the apartments if we start at UF for fall?

what apartments? On campus or off campus? Either way the answer is NOW. I know a lot of off campus apartment complexes that already have only a few units left for Fall. If you’re talking on campus, it’s competetive so the sooner the better.
No such thing as too early :)

@gatorordie I applied in mid January and sent all my high school and college transcript by beginning of Feb. I am just thinking of going to FAU who accepted me within a week. If they accept me all the way in June then it will be hard to find apartment and also will end up with creepy professors for the fall semester.

I wanted to go to campus lodge… can I still apply for a spot at campus lodge even though I haven’t been accepted yet?

Did anyone else notice that it said “The application status function is not available” when they logged in to check their application status?

For anyone interested… I spoke with admissions today and they told me that they are posting decisions this up coming week (April 9-13) Good Luck!

Hi, I know this is a wrong thread, but can someone please help me??
I got rejected from UF and SF is my second plan.
I just want to know if it is really hard to transfer in to UF from SF…
Some of my friends said that It is extremely hard…is this true??
Also, is anybody is the Zoo program??
IF yes, PLEASE PLEASE tell me how the program is…
THANK YOU!

I just got accepted into UF. This is the being of something special

Congratulations what are you majoring in and what are you plans for housing?
And Orbit… Did you get rejected as a transfer student or out of high school?

I’m majoring in Construction Management…This was my first time applying and as far as my living arrangements I have no clue just yet

Congrats!!!

@EileenM are those dates for a specific college?

@Toreyphilemon, I got rejected as a freshmen from HS.

EileenM, what college said that? I’m assuming it was not CALS (which I’ve applied to), but it would sure be nice if they were doing it this early. I was told their goal is July 15 and that we’d probably hear a bit earlier than that. That is really late considering when classes start and the fact that I will have to work on moving my family. Thanks in advance for any clarification.

I was rejected ( CALS) 3.6GPA…AA from FL CC… I have back ups…FSU & UCF…good luck to the rest of you :-)
