Hey all, thanks so much for reading this.

So this will get confusing but here I go,

HS GPA: ~3.6 (unweighted)- in top 100 high schools in nation - class of 2012
<4-APChemistry>
<lots of="" ec="" and="" positions="">
<1850 SAT..>
College GPA: 2.9 Chemistry major (at an average university) attended for 2 semesters
College GPA: 3.8 Architecture major (community college) - 1 semester</lots>

I want to pursue Architecture/urban design now that I finally know what I want to do. My average school is a science-related school and they did not have architecture major offered so that is why I jumped down to a community college, to "explore".

I want to transfer to NYU, UC's, Boston, Northeastern.. just to name a few

I know that my GPA is very low at the average university, so I am thinking whether to go back there this spring 2014- because we have a system that you can retake classes and it will replace your old GPA. However it will be shown in the transcript.

I know I can lift my GPA if i retake the only 2C's I got freshman year to a 3.6, if i get straight A's this semester. ( 2 retakes and 2 new classes)

Should I go back to average university to lift my GPA for better chances? ( or would college not care, and look more at the current institution I am in)

Should I just attend the community college and get a really good GPA there and transfer from there

Thank you :)
